GYSBI receives award from the National Blood Transfusion Services
GYSBI has been awarded by the National Blood Transfusion Services for our sterling contributions to the work and mission of the body.
The Award, which was presented in honour of World Blood Donor Day on June 14, recognised the role GYSBI has played through our regular blood drives, in ensuring that the National Blood Bank has adequate blood at hand for medical emergencies.
Our blood drives are held every three months. The last such event, which was held in March, saw us collecting 34 units of blood from members of staff. Our next activity will be held on June 28, 2023.
