Two groups of students from the Ministry of Natural Resources’ “Youth in Natural Resources Apprenticeship Programme” recently toured our facilities where they were given an inside look at our operations by Base Manager, Stephen Clark. According to the Ministry, this annual program aims to spark interest and inspire young adults to pursue careers in the natural resources sector—spanning mining, forestry, and oil and gas.

Over the course of four weeks, participants actively engage with key stakeholders, travel to interior regions, and gain valuable hands-on experience. Each year, GYSBI is proud to play a key role in welcoming and hosting these aspiring professionals.
