In celebration of Guyana’s Republic Anniversary, GYSBI in collaboration with our parent company, Muneshwers Limited, and sister companies, participated in the 2024 Mashramani Costume and Float Parade, which was held on February 23rd. Our costumes were created under the concept of “Aqua Fusion Prosperity”, which represented Guyana’s bountiful water resources and how it is used to fuel the many industries in the country including shore base and port services.

While we await the official results from the Ministry of Culture, there is no doubt that we brought our ‘A Game’ to the streets of Georgetown, with our vibrant costumes and riveting display of energy.

Special thanks to the 2024 Soca Monarch, Carlvin Burnette who performed with us on the road as well as West Indies bowler, Shamar Joseph, who joined us along the route. President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali also stopped by for a few photos with our Large Band.
