GYSBI Recognized the Inaugural 2023 GYSBI Scholarship Students
We recently hosted a farewell luncheon for our 2023 GYSBI Scholarship Awardees, who spent six weeks at the Base gaining practical experience during their semester breaks from various Technical Institutes.
The students were assigned to different departments based on their fields of study. Of the 10 students, nine of them returned to school this week to begin their second-year studies, while one student, Matthew Seepersaud, has been offered full-time employment at the company. He has completed his Electrical Engineering studies at the New Amsterdam Technical Institute and will be working in GYSBI’s Maintenance Department.
