Last Saturday, we hosted 70 children drawn from three orphanages for a day out at Movietowne, as a treat for the Christmas Season. The children were able to view the movie ‘Willy Wonka’, enjoy snacks, rides on the carousel, train, and Ferris Wheel as well as benefit from toys and personal care packages before we transported them back to their respective homes.

One of the homes is currently sponsored by GYSBI as part of the First Lady’s Adopt an Orphanage Initiative. Through this programme, we provide much-needed support in offsetting their substantial monthly expenses and salaries for staff.
