The GYSBI Technical Scholarship for Students of Region Three (3)

Guyana Shore Base Inc. (GYSBI), the leading shore base and construction specialist in the country, has been actively working on multiple phases of the Gas to Energy Project in Wales, West Bank Demerara. As part of its community outreach, GYSBI is offering a limited number of scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year to students from Region Three. These scholarships are available at the Georgetown and Leonora Technical Institutes.

Applicants who fit the key eligibility requirements below are invited to apply:

  • Must be between the ages of 16 to 25.
  • Applicants must gain admission or be in the process of applying to the respective institute.
  • Must be a resident of Region Three. Special consideration will be given to students from the West Bank of Demerara.

 

All of the beneficiaries of the GYSBI STEM scholarship will receive financial and other support to assist in their academic journey. Internships can be provided during semester breaks with the possibility of full time employment at the end of the programme.

Deadline for submission of applications is June 30th, 2024.
